Stereo correspondence through structural description of objects
In Proc. Applied Machine Vision '96, pp. 453-462

In this paper, a method for building and matching structural descriptions of objects from stereo images, is discussed. The method involves the following steps: firstly, straight line segments are extracted in both images and the relation among them are investigated. Then, the relational subgraphs are constructed and the correspondence graph is created. Using the graph theoretical "stable marriage" algorithm the features in the one image corresponding to features in the other image are found. The method was tested on a set of aerial stereo images of urban scenes.
